Last year you Embraced Cuba, so this year in alignment with our 10-year plan, we invite you to deepen your connection with us and the life-changing work God will accomplish in 2025!

In 2024, we witnessed the heartbreaking emigration of hundreds of Cubans daily—fleeing the island in search of hope amid economic crisis and despair. Yet, in the midst of this storm, the ministry has risen as a beacon of light, guiding many toward safe harbor!

2024 was one of the hardest years in Cuban history, marked by natural disasters, a power grid crisis, and ongoing economic challenges. Yet, in the midst of these trials, God’s faithfulness has shone brightly! Together, we reached over 75,000 people across Cuba with the transformative message of Christ. Through vibrant evangelistic efforts, discipleship programs, leadership training, and compassionate community support, hope was restored, and lives were transformed! Because of our partners' unwavering support, children encountered the Gospel, families found refuge in their darkest moments, and leaders were empowered to bring Christ’s light into their communities. This year has been a testimony to God’s power to work through adversity and bring hope to Cuba!

EXPANDING THE REACH OF THE GOSPEL
The story of Rebeca, a young woman impacted by the BELLAS young women’s ministry, reflects the power of the gospel in evangelistic outreach:
“It is incredible how, through its vision of helping girls see themselves as God sees them, BELLAS has impacted my life in a special way. BELLAS has been a healing balm for my heart, restoring areas of my life and bringing hope to this generation. I thank God for each lesson filled with love and purpose, and for the dedicated leaders who shine God’s light in such turbulent times. Through this ministry, I have found hope that our youth is not lost.”

This year, your support brought the Gospel to 75,299 people through vibrant evangelistic efforts, including crusades, sports events, and house church planting. The sharing of Jesus’ Good News resulted in 20,711 new believers and 1,450 baptisms, bringing God’s hope and transformation to countless lives.
Children’s Ministry played a vital role in our evangelism efforts. At the beginning of the year, Hillside Community Church generously made and sent 10,000 gospel bracelet kits for kids. But God had even bigger plans and our Vacation Bible Schools welcomed over 25,000 children for three days of fun and focus on Jesus!
Additionally, our partnership with Operation Care International allowed us to wash the feet of 1,000 children, sharing the Gospel with each child and their family in a meaningful act of service. The Sports Ministry, designed to inspire both physical and spiritual growth, saw 1,362 people embrace the message of Christ through events, tournaments, and outreach programs.
With a mission to reach Cuba for Christ, our evangelism programs empower leaders to make an invitation to encounter Christ and share His message, ensuring the Gospel continues to reach every corner of Cuba!
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
TRANSFORMING LIVES THROUGH
COMPASSIONATE CARE
Because of your generosity in 2024, 12,356 people received critical support through our community support programs, including food and water distribution, medical missions that served over 6,391 patients, and disaster relief during a challenging year for Cuba.
2024 brought a series of natural disasters that devastated parts of Cuba, compounded by a worsening power grid crisis. Thanks to the unwavering support of our donors and partners, we delivered 12 generators to several of our churches, allowing them to provide electricity for charging cell phones and powering essential appliances.
Our US mission teams, in partnership with Mission Regan brought in 4,500 lbs of powdered milk and formula for children and infants, vital medicines for clinics, battery-powered fans to combat the heat, and other supplies for crisis recovery efforts. Our Cuba network used these resources to deliver a truck full of food and disaster relief supplies to help 500 people in a remote area of Guantanamo affected by Hurricane Oscar, which claimed
six lives.
By meeting urgent needs and serving our communities, our church network lives out Christ’s teaching of loving our neighbors and creates space for the gospel to be shared!
DISCIPLESHIP
BUILDING A MOVEMENT OF FAITH
The story of a family in Punta Brava reflects the transformational power of discipleship:
“We are a family living in Punta Brava, a rural area in the municipality of La Lisa. After the tragic loss of a loved one to suicide, we sought refuge in God. Through Tito, a leader from the Well Women’s Ministry, we found comfort and restoration. Her weekly visits and guidance have brought hope to our family and others in our community. This ministry has shown us that even in moments of deep grief, God’s love can transform lives.”

Your support in 2024 made it possible to impact 23,110 individuals through discipleship, fostering spiritual growth and leadership development in small groups, and targeted programs. Many of these groups are already on their way to becoming house churches and are an integral part of our 10-year vision to plant 700 home churches across Cuba.
The WELL Women’s Ministry has been instrumental in these efforts, discipling over 2,176 women through mentorship, Bible studies, and conferences. Partners like Bent Tree Bible Fellowship joined in strengthening this ministry through a National Discipleship Conference, empowering more women to build communities of faith.
Thanks to your generosity, youth discipleship flourished through JOCUP, which engaged over 1,134 youth, and BELLAS, which continues to disciple young women and inspire them to lead confidently. Through our partners at Abiding Fathers, 303 men are being discipled and we gained access to 9 prison facilities.
By nurturing discipleship across all age groups, we are building on a firm foundation of faith in Christ that will transform Cuba for generations to come.
TRAINING
EQUIPPING LEADERS & BUILDING UP THE NEXT GENERATION
Because of you, 36,636 individuals were trained in 2024 through leadership councils, seminary programs, and teacher workshops. One of the most impactful initiatives you supported was the expansion of our Saturday Schools, where 222 children received help with school work and biblical education, and were mentored in a safe, nurturing environment. Teacher training was also a huge success this year, with 896 teachers equipped to serve in children’s ministries across Cuba.
With a current shortage of pastors in Cuba, our Víctor Legrá García Seminary enrolled over 3,267 students in 66 locations, ensuring a new generation of pastors and ministry leaders are prepared to shepherd their communities.
The Timothy Initiative was vital in advancing our training efforts, supporting the establishment of 140 house churches and over 191 discipleship groups. By fostering a culture of faith-sharing and Paul to Timothy mentorship, this program equips leaders to disciple others and lay the foundation for sustainable house church expansion.
Through training, we are empowering leaders and building a robust framework for long-term spiritual growth, ensuring that solid biblical teaching continues to flourish across Cuba!
